With your gift or sponsorship, you enhance our ability to produce programs, upgrade or repair equipment, defray enrollment costs, and provide scholarships to our members.

The #PlayBall12345 Mission

Each year, more than 500 ballplayers and their families from Lawrence, Ewing, and Hopewell Township, NJ participate in an LTJBSA program.

Established in 1963, the Lawrence Township Junior Baseball Softball Association LTJBSA) is a non-profit 501-3(c) public charity that produces quality, community-based tee ball, softball, and baseball programs that help children  have fun, make memories, and learn to play the game on a trusted hometown field.

We strive to provide safe, low-pressure programs that let every child try, learn, and grow, while creating friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. We believe that community-based youth sports are an important platform for children to develop essential life skills like teamwork, resilience, and confidence.

How Team Naming Rights Work

Every season, the number of teams we can name depends on how many players sign up for our programs.

  • Start with a Home Run Sponsorship. When you become a Home Run Sponsor, you automatically get a banner on the field AND a spot on our Priority List for naming a team.
  • We form teams, then name them. Once we know how many players have enrolled, we start matching them up into teams.
  • Returning sponsors get first dibs. If you sponsored a team last year, you get first choice in naming a team this year.
  • New sponsors are up next. After our returning sponsors, we go down the Priority List and give new sponsors the chance to name a team. The earlier your payment came in, the sooner you get a chance to exercise your naming rights.

Artwork Specifications

To make sure your artwork looks its best, please follow these guidelines:

  • File types:
    • We prefer vector files like EPS, AI, PDF, and SVG. Vector files stay sharp at any size.
    •  If you have a pixel-based image (JPG, TIFF, PNG), make sure it's at least 3456x2592 pixels. Pixel-based files can get blurry if they're too small.
  • Banner size: Your image should be in a 4:3 ratio (minimum 3456x2592 pixels). This ensures your image fits the banner perfectly.
  • Colors: Use RGB colors which are best for digital printing.
  • Margins: Keep all text and images at least 2 inches away from the edges. This prevents important parts of your design from falling  on a hemline or interrupted by a grommet.
  • Vector files: Make sure all text is converted to outlines to ensures it prints correctly.
