This policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling your player's registration with the Lawrence Township Junior Baseball Softball Association (LTJBSA) and requesting a refund.

Understanding Our Policy

To prepare for each season, the LTJBSA incurs significant costs for players, teams, facilities, insurance, and governing body fees. Because these expenses increase as the beginning of the season approaches, we have a sliding-scale refund policy to ensure that refunds cover the league's actual expenses incurred for each player.

Important Notes:

• This policy applies only to LTJBSA programs, not to programs offered by our partners. Partner programs may have different cancellation policies.
• Emailing your player's coach does not constitute a cancellation request.

Refund Schedule

• Before Registration Closes: 100% refund, less a $20 processing fee per registration transaction.
• After Registration Closes, But More Than 6 Days Before the Start of the Program: 40% refund.
• 6 Days or Less Before the Start of the Program: No refund.

Eligible Programs: This policy applies to Spring, Summer, Tournament, Fall seasons, and LTJBSA Clinics.

Cancellation Procedure

To request a cancellation and refund, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Registration Cancellation." Include the following information in the email:

• Player's full name
• Order number
• LTJBSA account email address
• Division and level of play
• Reason for cancellation

Family Discount

If you cancel one sibling's registration and received a family discount, the discount will be revoked. You must pay the difference between the full price and the discounted price for any remaining siblings within 72 hours to avoid their removal from the program.

Deadline and Processing

Cancellation requests must be received by 5:00 PM ET on the applicable date outlined in the refund schedule. Refunds will be processed within 10 days of receipt and issued via the original payment method.

Inclement Weather

The LTJBSA makes every effort to reschedule games postponed due to inclement weather. However, field conditions may limit our ability to do so. While we build makeup days into our schedule and work diligently to dry the fields, cancellations may be necessary.

The LTJBSA is a non-profit organization that incurs expenses regardless of the number of games played. Therefore, we do not offer refunds for games or practices canceled due to weather.
